Reading a Spec Sheet

When comparing cars, look for both peak figures and the RPM at which they're achieved. A car producing 400 Nm at 1,500 RPM will feel very different from one producing 400 Nm at 4,500 RPM — even though the numbers look identical on paper. Low-RPM torque peaks generally mean a more usable, flexible engine for everyday driving.
